This was my third time going to AX

The first time I went I flat-out hated it.

Last year I went with dragon and we hung out in artist's alley the whole time. We got bored pretty fast.

This year was actually...very fun! 8D

I'm sure it was mostly fun because I was wandering around with my skye-dragon and my roomies.

I had another cosplay planned but it ended up not working out and I wanted to cosplay. So.....my mom suggested I do Rogue. I wasn't a canon-rogue. I was and I quote "whatever-was-in-my-closet-rogue"

Luckily for me I happened to have some leathertype stuff... I'll put a picture up.

I was pretty sure that few people would recognize me (let's face it, i'm at ANIME expo not Hero-con or something) and there was hardly a Marvel-meet or anything XD

Some people did have me pose with skye-dragon (probably thinking I was some random ff character or something, she was squall <3)

but something wonderful happened surrounding my cosplay!

At the convention I saw only ONE OTHER x-men cosplayer. Just one.

How I found the Gambit was funny. When we were wandering around artist's alley, swing split apart. She called me to tell me about some magnets I might like (which i bought by the way) and while she was directing me to where she was she stops and goes "Hurry over here there is a Gambit cosplayer!")

by the time I got over there, the Gambit had left. I chastised her for losing possibly the only other Marvel cosplayer at an animu convention and mourned that I wouldn't be able to find him. She swore to me that we would find him though.

Later when Dragon and I were hanging out in a lobby while Commo and Swing were...I don't know...playing Team Trauma Center or something Atlus related... I went to go explore the food area for my dragon was hungry.

Walking in the hallway on the way back I see...GAMBIT HEADING THE OTHER WAY!

I yelled out "Gambit!"

He turned around and went "Rogue!"

I ran over and full on jump-hugged him (he caught me so it's okay) and then I dragged him back to take some pictures.

A bit later Swing called me up saying she had found him but I found him first, so I win <3

My gambit-senses, they is tingling.

I'll post a picture once I get my camera back from swing!

I really liked being Rogue at AX even though there was only one other x-men there (there was another mutant though, besides gambit and me! i saw a deadpool wandering). I liked being rogue so much that I think I may make an actual rogue outfit for comicon! And I'm gonna use a different dye for my bangs. I made dragon drive all around the world to find the hair product that I used, thankyou my dahling <3

Speaking of dragon though, she possibly may be the gambit to my rogue at comicon! I really hope she does. I think the fact that she wouldn't need a wig appeals to her. Also that she would get to wear sceleras!

the ax gambit is going to be at comicon too so I'm gonna keep an eye out for him <3

Serious that was one of the things that made the day.

The other thing is that dragon got me the PVC SANZO FIGURE OH GOD HE GLOWS AND I CAN TAKE OFF ALL OF HIS CLOTHES AND HE HAS THOSE HIPS

Sanzo you so lovely.... (even if the light stand is kind of gay)
